I am busy preparing for a trip to India this last week, so I have not been as active as I would like in blogging. I thought I would post a few thoughts from a few Medieval Christian mystics that I have been reading in my devotional time. Their insights on clarity, authenticity and pure devotion to Jesus all help us to explore the impact of our worship on our daily activities. I will start today with a poem of Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179) that speak about the promise of mystical union with God through the disciplines of Christian asceticism:Alleluia! Light
