I read the following, this morning, from the wonderful "Counsels of Light and Love" of the 16th century Spanish Christian leaders, John of the Cross:"Directors should reflect on these two things:that they are not the chief agent, guide and mover of souls,but that the principal guide is the Holy Spirit, Who is never neglectful of souls;and that they are instruments for guiding souls in faith and the love of God,according to the spirit God gives each one."
This is good and prudent advice.
